A Port Byron man trapped in a cave has been rescued.
Logan Eliasen, 20, was stuck in a cave at the Maquoketa Caves State Park since Friday night.
The DNR says the man was in good condition, but his hips were stuck in what’s described as a manhole-type cave.
He was pulled from the cave around 3:45 Saturday afternoon.
Emma Thompson, 20, was also trapped in the caves but got herself out with the help of the rescue crew shortly before midnight.
