Illinois State Police are on the lookout for a man who reportedly tried used candy as a way to lure children in Rock Falls.
Police said the man used candy to try to lure two young boys near Riverview Road and Ann Street, in Rock Falls, around 7 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2015.
The public's help is being sought in identifying the man, police say.
He was described as a black male with a medium build, standing 6-feet, 1-inch tall. He had short hair, was clean-shaven, had a ring on his finger and a tattoo on his arm. He was wearing a blue baseball hat, a plain white T-shirt, brown pants, and sneakers that were green and white, according to police.
