The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a webcam set up that shows what's happening on the Arsenal Bridge in real time.
The camera updates every 30 seconds, so you'll be able to see if and when a barge is going through. When one does, it shuts down the bridge for up to a half hour.
If you aren't near a computer, stay tuned to WQAD. "Good Morning Quad Cities" will be giving viewers constant updates from 4:30am-7am, telling you if the draw span is open or closed so you don't have to guess before you get behind the wheel.
