Hotel Blackhawk in Davenport, Iowa has been named the “Best Hotel in Iowa.”
Business Insider named the best hotel in every state and chose the winners based on expert reviews, local recommendations, and a previous list of “The Best Hotels in America.”
Hotel Blackhawk’s General Manager Jacob Horner said they were honored to receive that title.
“There are thousands of hotels in the state of Iowa and the fact that our hotel was chosen as number one out of all of them is extremely humbling,” Horner said.
He noted that the recognition highlights the work that goes into maintaining Hotel Blackhawk.
“This may just be the most significant recognition that the hotel has ever received,” Horner said.
The Hotel Blackhawk has 130 guestrooms and extended-stay suites, six meeting rooms and a banquet room that holds up to 300 people. Rooms start at $169 per night.
Business Insider listed the best hotel in Illinois as The Langham in Chicago. The Langham ranked No. 8 on the list of best hotels in America. Rooms start at $600 per night.
The most expensive hotel on the list is Twin Farms in Barnard, Vermont. Rooms rent starting at $1,725 per night.
