Gas prices have been steadily falling in the Quad Cities.
On Sunday, October 13, 2013 drivers in Iowa were paying about $3.27 for a gallon of regular gas, and drivers in Illinois had a slightly higher bill paying $3.44 per gallon of regular gas, according to the Triple-A Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
Drivers around the country were paying an average of $3.34 on Sunday, down 20-cents from a month before. Prices were down one-cent from the previous day.
Missouri drivers were paying the lowest prices around the country, $3.04 per gallon.
