Funeral services were planned for Carrie Olson, whose body was found in Minnesota months after she was last seen in the Quad Cities.
Carrie Olson was reported missing in late December 2013. A land owner found her body in rural Dakota County, Minnesota on Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was brought home to her family April 8.
Carrie Olson was 29 years old.
“Carrie was a woman with a big heart, she was very generous and giving,” said an online obituary posted in her memory. The post went on to describe Carrie’s cherished relationships with her family and with her beloved dog, Kolby Jack.
Funeral services were planned for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 916 Rusholme Street in Davenport. There will be no public visitation, and a private burial was planned for after her funeral.
Carrie Olson will be buried at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Davenport.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorials be made to the Quad City Missing Persons Network.
