Kids at a guitar camp got to talk to a widely-known rock idol.
Former Kiss guitar player, Bruce Kulick got on Skype and talked to some Quad City kids at the Rock Academy Guitar Camp on Thursday, June 27, 2013.
Guitar students were able to ask him questions about his career and get advice about playing their instruments.
“It doesn’t matter how good your instrument is or how much your equipment is,” said Megan Fahrenkrug, a student at the Rock Academy. “You’ve just got to work at it and be confident in yourself.”
Students learned about different guitar techniques at the academy, famous guitar riffs, and popular guitar players.
