Fire damaged a building and semi trailer at City Carton Recycling in Davenport, Iowa.
The fire was reported at about 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20 at the facility at 4002 Kimmel Drive.
Fire Chief Lynn Washburn said the fire started outside the building at the center, then spread to a nearby semi trailer which was heavily damaged.
The fire also spread to the exterior of the building at the recycling center, but Washburn said damage was confined to outside portions and the fire did not spread to the building’s interior.
Washburn said the fire appeared to be accidental.
No injuries were reported.
