STERLING, Illinois – An elderly woman was found dead on the ground in the 1800 block of Locust Street in Sterling. Police say they received the call at 8:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29.
The woman’s name has not yet been released, and police do not suspect foul play at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
