A Davenport man died almost one week after suffering a stab wound, police say.
On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, 62-year-old Claude Hanson was taken to an area hospital for treatment after Davenport Police responded to a call about a stabbing, according to a statement from Captain Brent Biggs. The stabbing reportedly happened around 11:45 p.m. in the 3800 block of Bridge Avenue.
“On Tuesday, July 21 we were notified the victim had died and the cause of death is unknown at this time pending the official results of an autopsy,” Biggs said in his statement.
There have been no arrests made in the investigation as of Friday, July 24. Police are asking anyone with information to call 563-326-6125.
