WARREN, Illinois — Two construction workers were seriously hurt when a lift they were using tipped over.
The two Wisconsin men, 37-year-old Donald R. Euler and 52-year-old Mark Linden were installing a roof when the lift tipped, causing them to fall to the ground, according to a statement from the Warren Police Department. It happened just before noon on Monday, May 2, 2016 on Long Street.
Authorities say both men sustained severe injuries. They were treated at the scene before being airlifted to a hospital.
The incident was still under investigation as of Tuesday afternoon.
The name of the company the men were working for was not released.
