BURLINGTON -- A 19-year-old Burlington man was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly sexually assaulting a child in Mediapolis earlier in the month.
Arrested was Christopher A. Bindel. Police picked him up on three outstanding warrants for 2nd degree sexual abuse, lascivious acts with a child and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. The charges were the result of an investigation into the allaged assault of a child at a home in Mediapolis on Aug. 3.
Bindel is being held in the Des Moines County Correctional Center on a bond of $40,000.
