A woman went into labor during the second period of a Chicago Blackhawks game, but the mother-to-be powered through her labor pains and waited until the game ended.
Nine months pregnant, Donna Lebano and her three sisters were enjoying the hockey game too much to leave so soon on Thursday, May 9, according to a report by WGN.
After the Blackhawks beat the Minnesota Wild, Lebano was driven to the hospital by her sister, Barb Wilczek. Within a few hours of the game ending, Lebano delivered a baby boy.
“Nothing like an exciting Hawks game to induce labor,” said Wilczek.
