ERIE, Illinois — They’re the kinds of words that everyone wants to hear. “You’re a beautifully complex person, and so strong!” or “You are so much fun to be around, more people should get to know you!”
These are the anonymous words of someone spreading #CardinalKindness through social media about students at Erie High School in Illinois.
The page posts a funny or serious photo of a student with their name and how that student has grown over the years. Some are funny and some are sweet, but definitely the kind of positive reinforcement some parents think students need.
“With all the bullying going around schools I thought this would be inspirational to others. A few times per week this anonymous person features a student and takes the time to point out all the great attributes about them,” said Jason Smith, who brought the Facebook page to WQAD’s attention.
Smith has two daughters at Erie High School.
