94-year-old Davenport woman says line dancing keeps her young

Just a few days after she turned 94, Millie Allison was at it again, line dancing with the ladies at CASI.

"You can't beat them," Millie said.  "It's so much fun with them.  We have a lot of fun, just, even when we're not dancing."

In earlier years, she worked factory jobs including one at Sears Manufacturing.

These days, Millie says she hardly ever misses the Tuesday dance session with the girls.  It's important to Millie to stay active and to keep moving.

"I'm always busy.  I don't just sit around, that would drive me crazy," Millie said.

She says she doesn't have a favorite song or dance, she just likes them all.  After she celebrated her 94th birthday with family on Saturday, May 16, friends paid special tribute to Millie by saving "Ain't She Sweet" for the last song of their weekly dance session held May 19.
