DAVENPORT, Iowa — A Walgreens location in Davenport is closing its doors.
According to company officials, the Walgreens on the corner of Brady and Locust Streets in Davenport will close after its final day on Wednesday, April 3. A Walgreens spokesperson cited staffing shortages and "unsustainable business performance" as the primary reasons for the closure.
Here's the full statement:
"When faced with the difficult decision to close a location, several factors are taken into account, including our existing footprint of stores, dynamics of the local market, and changes in the buying habits of our patients and customers, among other reasons. This location’s closure is due to staffing shortages and unsustainable business performance."
The location's pharmacy had already been closed since late 2022.
