SCOTT COUNTY, Iowa — Two people were injured after a train collided with a pickup truck in the west end of Davenport Sunday night.
According to the Scott County Sheriff's Office, officials responded to the crash in the 18400 block of 110th Avenue around 11:30 p.m.
An investigation determined that a pickup truck was driving south on 110th Avenue when it failed to stop at a railroad crossing stop sign. A train traveling west collided with the truck.
Two occupants of the pickup truck were transported to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown.
The crash is under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
