DAVENPORT, Iowa — Davenport police say that a man who suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car in a Dec. 23 crash has died.
According to a Davenport Police Department news release, 25-year-old Caleb Hardy of Davenport died on Dec. 28 from his injuries sustained in the vehicle vs. pedestrian crash.
The crash happened in the 600 block of Waverly Road. An investigation revealed that a 45-year-old man was driving southbound on Waverly Road when his vehicle struck Hardy who was walking on the shoulder of the road.
This incident remains under investigation; no further information is available at this time.
