DAVENPORT, Iowa — A Davenport man was arrested Monday following accusations that he killed a dog.

According to court documents, 24-year-old Noah House of Davenport was accused of killing a dog inside a home on the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police allege that the 5-year-old dog was hung to death "in a sadistic manner" by its collar. After the dog was killed, House allegedly placed the dog's body in a garbage bag and stored it in a freezer.

House was arrested on Nov. 13 and charged with animal torture. After his arrest, House was booked into jail, but he posted a $2,000 bond and has been released.
