DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Davenport Public Library is hosting a library card design contest through November 19th at all locations.
The library is seeking art that might be used on limited edition library cards that will launch in April during National Library Week. If interested, visit any Davenport Public Library location or download the PDF to participate.
The only restriction for participating is that participants must be Davenport residents. Completed designs and release forms must be returned to any Davenport Public Library Branch by November 19th.
Submissions should showcase some aspect of the library, literacy or reflect what your library means to you. Artwork can include computer-generated, digital photographic images or paper submissions using art supplies. Designs must include the Davenport Public Library logo.
Representatives from the Davenport Public Library will select top designs in each of the three categories as finalists: youth (0-11), teen (11-19) and adults (19+).
