Davenport firefighters put out fire at Thunder Bay Grille

No one was injured in the fire, according to Davenport fire officials.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Davenport firefighters battled a blaze at a local restaurant over the weekend.

On Sunday, March 3, fire crews responded to reports of a fire at Thunder Bay Grille in Davenport shortly after 3 p.m. When firefighters arrived, fire and smoke were visible from the back side of the restaurant. Fire officials said they were able to put out the blaze within 10 minutes of their arrival on the scene.

The building suffered minor smoke and fire damage, according to Davenport fire officials. No one was injured in the incident.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire in the first place.
