DAVENPORT, Iowa — Daniel Gosa, a board member for Davenport Community Schools since 2015, is stepping down to serve in the Iowa House. He previously served as president on the board as well.
Gosa won the 81st District House seat in November, running unopposed as a Democrat.
He is a member of the Heat and Frost Insulators Local 81 and also serves as the president of the Quad-City Federation of Labor.
He's being recognized at Monday night's board meeting.
