CLINTON, Iowa — As Iowa prepares for its regular city and school election on Nov. 7, Grow Clinton is hosting two candidate forums for the cities of Clinton and Camanche.

Residents in both towns are welcome to attend and hear from those running for city government and school board. Candidates who are running unopposed will have an opportunity to give an overview of their candidacy.

“The candidate forum provides an opportunity for Clinton and Camanche residents to make an informed decision come Election Day,” Matt Parbs, the vice president of community and economic development at Grow Clinton, said.

Clinton will be the first city to host their forum, which takes place at Clinton City Hall on Oct. 18. Next up will be Camanche, on Oct. 23 at the Camanche City Hall. Both are set to start at 6 p.m. and will be livestreamed on each city's YouTube pages.
