DAVENPORT, Iowa — Chuck E. Cheese restaurant and arcade in Davenport has closed its doors for good.

The entertainment center that had brought joy to so many Quad Cities youth closed on Sunday, Apr. 7.

A company spokesperson released the following statement:

"Thank you for your interest in our Davenport location. We are always evaluating our real estate and development strategies to ensure these align with our strategic goals. We made the difficult decision to close effective Sunday, April 7. We will continue to seek new opportunities for families to enjoy Chuck E. Cheese and remain committed to delivering fun, family-friendly experiences across all our locations and appreciate the ongoing support from our communities.”

A News 8 viewer sent in videos of the signs down on the restaurant at the Old Town Shopping Center, and its roadside sign being covered up along Kimberly Road.
