Carbon Cliff searching for new Board of Trustees member

The new member would also serve on the Public Safety & Administration committees.

CARBON CLIFF, Ill. — The village of Carbon Cliff is looking for a resident to fill a vacancy on its Board of Trustees.

The new member would also serve on the Public Safety Committee, which handles fire, police, health, planning, zoning, inspections and civil defense, and the Administration Committee, which handles finance, insurance, policy, ordinances and licenses.

The board meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Village Hall, located at 1001 Mansur Ave. The committee meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m.

Residents interested in joining the board can contact Village Director Nick Gottwalt at n.gottwalt@carboncliff.com. The email should include your name, address, contact information and some information about yourself. 

The village is looking to fill the board vacancy by the end of January.
