JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa — A man's body was recovered from Lake MacBride in Johnson County, Iowa on Thursday, June 13.
According to a Johnson County Sheriff's Office news release, authorities received a call at 3:04 p.m. reporting that a person had jumped into the water and not resurfaced in Lake MacBride near the spillway into the Coralville Reservoir. First responders searched the water, finding a man dead in the water at 4:19 p.m.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
