BETTENDORF, Iowa — The Downtown Bettendorf Organization's Be Downtown outdoor event will take place on Saturday, June 3 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the 15th St. Landing, according to a news release.
The family-friendly event features numerous bags tournaments, live music, food trucks and children's activities.
Local bands such as Doug Brundies, Threat Level Midnight, Panic River Band and Diplomats of Solid Sound will perform live music throughout the day. At night, the live music will continue at three downtown Bettendorf businesses, Harley Corin's, Purgarory's Pub and Riverside Grille.
Mexican restaurant Verde will be offering food and an outdoor bar. Food trucks will serve food from noon to 6 p.m. Participating food trucks include Quick E’s Tacos, Schaa-Bo’s Korean Fusion, Smokin Goodness BBQ and Sweet Tooth Snacks.
For kids, there will be bounce houses, bubble stations and a science station.
Be Downtown features three free to enter bags tournaments, with the top three placers taking home prizes of $300, $200 and $100.
