MOLINE, Ill. — The Avett Brothers have canceled an upcoming concert in the Quad Cities.

The folk rock band was scheduled to take the stage at Vibrant Arena on Oct. 25, but on Tuesday, Oct. 15, the band announced that the concert would no longer be happening. In a written statement, the band said, "Our participation in Hurricane Helene relief efforts will necessitate our presence in our home state of North Carolina during this time. Thank you kindly for understanding."

Refunds for the show will be provided to anyone who received a ticket. Anyone who purchased a ticket through the Vibrant Arena box office should contact them, and purchases from Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded.
