KEWANEE, Ill. — Illinois State Representative Travis Weaver is asking students in kindergarten through twelfth grade to be part of a community clean-up project.
The project tasks students with picking up trash using a standard kitchen-size trash bag and submitting a photo using the QR code attached below. Students must have permission from a parent or guardian to participate. Entries are being accepted until June 15.
Students who successfully participate will receive a Certificate of Service that can be used for college applications and job resumes.
In addition to using the QR code, students can also participate in the project by clicking here.
