DAVENPORT, Iowa — The 13th annual Caregiver Conference is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to noon.
This year's theme is "Self-Care for Caregivers" and will help provide tools and resources to help caregivers prioritize their own well-being while continuing their vital roles.
The conference, hosted by Milestones Area Agency on Aging, will feature over 30 vendors as well as an interactive yoga session and service dog demonstration. Other vendors include the Alzheimer's Association, Center for Active Seniors and UnityPoint Health Bettendorf PACE Senior Care.
It's open to all caregivers, including those caring for older adults, individuals with disabilities and loved ones with chronic conditions. It's for both professional caregivers and family caregivers. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about local resources, network with other caregivers and access materials that promote health, wellness and support.
