You can read Brand's message below.

Dear Cornell Community,

I am pleased to update you that all four instructors involved in the incident in China have been reunited with family members, or have continued with their previously scheduled summer travel plans. Thank you for your outpouring of support. We are reminded just how wonderful our extended Cornell College community is at caring for each other. Many individuals and organizations of diverse expertise, both in China and the United States, have contributed to the care of our instructors. We appreciate the support from our colleagues at Beihua University, and we have thanked our state and federal legislators as well as the Department of State for their efforts to assist our instructors and their families.
