ALEDO, Ill. — The 2024 General Election might be over, but you still have a chance to make your voice heard in the City of Aledo.
On Monday, Dec. 2, Aledo will hold its Municipal Caucus across the city to nominate candidates for city council, clerk, treasurer and mayor.
City residents can participate in the caucus based on their ward at four locations starting at 7 p.m. Races to nominate a candidate for city clerk, treasurer and mayor will start at 8 p.m. Each caucus will be held on one property, but political parties will be in different rooms.

Results for the nominated candidates will go into a consolidated election that will be held on April 1, 2025.
