BURLINGTON, Iowa — Two people were injured during a shooting in Burlington on Saturday, June 8, according to police.
Around 9:40 p.m., Burlington police responded to the 700 block of Oak Street and found several shell casings outside of a residence. Authorities learned that two people had been injured, each suffering a single gunshot wound. They were transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the incident appears to be isolated, and the shooting remains under investigation.
