Reynolds gives press conference as Iowa drops from 1st to 3rd in nation for COVID-19 cases

IOWA, USA — Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds is set to give a press conference as the state dropped from leading the nation in new confirmed coronavirus cases to third.

A White House Coronavirus Task Force from Sunday indicated Iowa had the third highest rate for new coronavirus cases in the country.

Reynolds noted the states positivity rate dropped to 9.2% from Aug. 28 through Sept. 9.

Reynolds highlighted mental health resources in the state as the pandemic continues into its seventh month. Depression and anxiety have been show to be at an all-time high nationwide.
