Bettendorf's Transit Division is adjusting two bus routes to serve the new Vera French Mental Health Center starting Monday, Dec. 4.
Transit Route 1, the red route, and Route 2, the blue route, will be changed to pass by the clinic at 852 Middle Road. Buses can be tracked with the SPOT App, available to download on the iOS and Android app stores, and on the SPOT website.
The clinic began offering its full services Oct. 16, including play therapy and treatment for teenagers.
"These changes will help to provide more efficient transit access to vital mental health care within our community," Bettendorf Transit Operations Manager Austen Whelan said in a press release.
Here's the transit map with the updated Route 1 Red. The bus stops at Vera French nine minutes past the hour from 5:45 a.m. to 6:40 p.m. Monday to Friday, and from 8:17 a.m. to 5:17 p.m. on Sunday.
The updated Route 2 Blue stops at Burlington Coat Factory, close to Vera French, 45 minutes past the hour from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, and from 8:17 a.m. to 5:17 p.m. on Saturday.
