DAVENPORT, Iowa — This month we head to McKinley Elementary School in Davenport to surprise one kindergarten teacher who just recently had her students return to the classroom after months of remote learning.
When you step inside Kimberly Finkeldei's classroom, you'll see inspiring quotes and a lot of activities to keep her kindergarten students busy.
"I already have some things in my cart. New headphones and dry erase boards for the kids. I'm really, really excited", says Finkeldei.
"It has been really exciting. It's fun to see them meet each other for the first time. This is going to be very helpful because now that there are going to be more bodies in the room, we need more materials. So, this couldn't have come at a more perfect time for me", she says.
