MOLINE, Ill. — There's a good chance that at some point someone has been impacted by the passing of a loved one due to cancer. It's a grief not easily forgotten, and one that can hurt more during the holiday season.
Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities is allowing people to take a free course on how to tackle the difficult task of holiday preparation while healing from a sensitive situation such as lost relatives.
Registration is required to attend this course, and the event starts at 6 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Gilda's Club Moline Clubhouse. The workshop will be led by registered grief counselor, Lisa Levy, BSN, RN.
