BURLINGTON, Iowa — Burlington Community School District moved to remote learning as confirmed cases of COVID-19 rise in the region.

Students began learning from home Monday, Nov. 9 until Friday, Nov. 20.

According to their website, the district's Board of Directors met in an "Emergency Meeting on Nov. 5 to discuss the current COVID 19 rates in the County and our District."

The Iowa Department of Education approved their request to learn remotely.

We have launched a new webpage with information about our transition to 100% Remote/Continuous Learning beginning November 9. Please watch Google Classroom for updates from your teachers. https://www.bcsds.org/.../1272-Required-Continuous-Learning-B...
