MOLINE, Illinois -- An armed bank robber got away with cash after demanding money from two tellers at Chase Bank.

A hold up alarm sounded around 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 8 at the bank, located at the intersection of 19th Avenue and 1st Street A, according to Detective Jon Leach with the Moline Police Department.

The armed robber was wearing a scarf, sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and dark gloves said Detective Leach.   The suspect was described as standing 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.

The suspect fled with cash in an unknown direction, said Detective Leach.

There were no reported injuries.
