UPDATE: At approximately 5:47 p.m., Davenport Police responded to reports of shots fired and a shooting victim in the area of 5901 Elmore Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who had been shot.
The victim was transported to Genesis hospitals and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
This incident is under investigation.

DAVENPORT -- Officers responded to a shots fired call at the Cross Creek Apartments, near the Walmart on Elmore.
According to the WQAD crew on scene, there were shell casings in the street.
