BURLINGTON, Iowa — A man was shot Wednesday while inside his Burlington residence, according to the Burlington Police Department.
Around 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of S. 10th Street to a report of shots fired. They found the man with a single gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
The incident appears to be isolated. Police say they are investigating the incident and that arrests are anticipated.
