ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Rock Island police are investigating a shooting that left one man seriously wounded around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Officers responded to a shots fired call at the 500 block of 25th street. They located a 25-year-old male with a serious but non-life threatening gunshot wound. The man was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The incident remains under investigation by the Rock Island Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division; no further information is available at this time.
