EAST MOLINE, Ill. — A man is in custody after police allege he was responsible for a pair of robberies in East Moline.
According to officials with the East Moline Police Department, officers responded to a report of a robbery at Suzi's Video Poker and Slots located at 1600 10th St. shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20. While investigating, officers said they were notified of an additional robbery at a Circle K located at 1827 18th Ave. In both instances, officers believe the suspect implied he had a weapon but did not reveal it.
According to officials, an undetermined amount of cash was taken and nobody was injured in either incident.
Police identified 35-year-old Bradley Rhyne as the suspect in both robberies. He was located at a Silvis residence before being arrested and booked into the Rock Island County Jail.
During the booking process, police allege Rhyne attacked an officer, but the officer in question wasn't seriously injured.
Rhyne was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated battery on a peace office, attempted aggravated robbery, one count of robbery, and two counts of theft.
