DAVENPORT, Iowa — Update Saturday, Aug. 31: Davenport police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting Thursday night as 20-year-old Kavon Campbell of Davenport Iowa.
The incident remains under investigation and no further information is available at this time.

One person was killed and two others injured after a shooting in Davenport.
On Thursday, Aug. 29, police said they received a call at 9:07 p.m. of a shooting in the 7500 block of Northwest Boulevard. When first responders arrived they found three victims -- a 27-year-old female, a 17-year-old male and a 20-year-old male. All three were transported to nearby hospitals for their injuries. The 20-year-old did not survive.
Officials believe this incident was not a random act of violence and are asking anyone with tips to call the Davenport Police Department at (563)326-6125 or submit an anonymous tip to QC Crime Stoppers.
