GALESBURG, Ill. — Three people are injured after a shooting early Sunday morning in Galesburg, officials say.
Around 1:45 a.m. on April 7, police responded to a shots fired call at the 1500 block of East Knox Street. According to a press release, officers found numerous people congregated at the location with three victims suffering non-life-threatening gunshot injuries. The three were taken to a hospital for treatment.
No other information has been provided and the incident remains under investigation by the Galesburg Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at (309) 343-9151.
