EAST MOLINE, Ill. — East Moline police arrested two men on Wednesday in connection to a September shooting that left two people injured.
Trino L. Teague, 29, of Silvis, and Michael A. Teague, 30, of Moline were arrested during the service of a search warrant in the 1300 block of 10th Avenue in East Moline Wednesday.
Both are charged with one count each of aggravated discharge of a firearm and for being felons in possession of a firearm. They are both being held in the Rock Island County Jail.
East Moline police had assistance for the search warrant from the Moline-East Moline Crisis Containment Unit, the QCFBI Safe Streets Task Force and the QC Metropolitan Enforcement Group.
The Sept. 25 shooting
Around 2:50 a.m. on Sept. 25, East Moline police officers were in the area of 13th Street and 13th Avenue near taverns when they heard multiple gunshots.
They responded to the area of 15th Street and 12th Avenue, where they found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, as well as a gun and multiple shell casings
Later, officers were notified that a second victim had arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. An investigation into the incident resulted in arrest warrants for Michael Teague and Trino Teague.
