DIXON, Illinois — Three people are in custody after a US Cellular store was robbed, Dixon police say.
Police responded to the call around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, to the US Cellular store on Keul Road. Officers learned that three suspects with handguns and wearing masks entered the store and ordered employees to the back room. Employees were tied up and suspects stole several items and cash from the store.
No injuries have been reported.
A similar robbery had been reported in Rock Falls, Illinois the previous day. Officers learned that numerous armed robberies with a similar method were being investigated across Northern Illinois.
With the help of Kankakee Police, two of the suspects were arrested on Nov. 15. A third man was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
Eddie Clark Jr., 20, and Michael Lane-Calhoun, 24, are charged with felonies of armed robbery, aggravated robbery and unlawful restraint. They are each held on a $200,000 bond.
David Kendrick, 23, is charged with felonies of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and unlawful restraint. Kendrick is held on a $500,000 bond.
Two more arrest warrants have been issued in connected with the burglary. Dixon police are working with the FBI and other agencies on this case.
