Two men and a woman faced charges after they were accused of punching, sexually assaulting and robbing a woman after kidnapping her in Davenport, Iowa.
Affidavits from Davenport Police said 23-year-old Frederick Wixom, 27-year-old Joshua Saldivar, and 21-year-old Tabatha Gibson knocked on the door to the victim’s apartment Thursday, January 15, 2015. When the woman answered, the three suspects allegedly took her from her apartment and, when she resisted, she was punched in the back of her head.
Police said the woman was taken to an apartment shared by Saldivar and Gibson, where she was allegedly held against her will and sexually assaulted by Wixon, Saldivar and Gibson. “Several items were stolen from the victim” during the assault, the police affidavits said, and the suspects allegedly threatened to kill her if she told anyone what happened.
Police arrested Wixom, Saldivar and Gibson the next day.
Wixom and Saldivar were each charged with first-degree kidnapping, second-degree robbery and second-degree sexual abuse. Both men were held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond each. Gibson was jailed in lieu of $200,000 bond, on charges of first-degree kidnapping and second-degree sexual abuse.
