DAVENPORT, Iowa — Several police officers were present outside a Davenport home around 3 a.m. Monday morning following a report of a shooting.
Authorities at the scene confirmed that they had responded to the residence for a shots fired incident. An estimated 15 squad cars were on the scene, near Sudlow Intermediate School.
Police were heard using a megaphone to try to get an individual presumably inside the home to come outside with their hands up.
News 8 was on the scene when a child and a man holding a baby exited the house. A tactical response team went into the house just before 5 a.m.
According to a Davenport police spokesperson, police found damaged property at the scene before a search warrant was executed. No injuries were reported. An investigation is ongoing.
