DAVENPORT, Iowa — Two people are injured after being shot while driving in their vehicle in Davenport early Saturday morning.
According to Davenport police, officials received a report of a person injured by gunfire while driving their vehicle in Davenport around 12:30 a.m. Officers met the victims in the parking lot of Modern Woodmen Park and found a 27-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and a 26-year-old woman suffering from serious gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The incident is under investigation.
